Mindless Obsessions - Studio Cam 1 (Drums!)

Check out this video of Euan in the studio tracking drums for an exclusive track we've been busy recording! 'Mindless Obsessions' is an older track of ours, but we've decided to spruce it up a bit and record it for the lovely folks on our Mailing List to say thanks for being all cool and following the band and such!

Just the new vocals to record (with Grant's shiny new mic!) which will happen in the next two weeks. He's already started some preliminary mixing so we're hoping to have this wrapped up and ready pretty soon, indeed!

If you'd like the track for FREE when it's mixed and mastered... all you have to do is sign up for our online mailing list, here:

You'll get the occasional message with the latest news and show details as well as the change to get your hands on some pretty sweet exclusives and freebies from time to time!

Enjoy the video!

A Torn Mind tracks played on The Dividing Line prog radio

Hi everyone! Apologies for the lack of blogging over the last wee while!

Some exciting news this week as 3 tracks from 'BARRIERS' have been included in the latest episode of "The European Perspective", a show broadcast on The Dividing Line internet prog radio network!

"Sixes & Sevens", "Impurity" and "Vita" are included in the show. If you'd like to check it out, you can stream/download the podcast at the link below. The podcast also includes tunes from the awesome Demians, Haken and Anathema, and a selection of tunes off the new solo album from Dec Burke (Darwin's Radio/Frost*).

The A Torn Mind tracks start at 2hrs 12mins ...and there's a wee bit of chat about us at 2hrs 39mins! Good times!!!

Limited Edition Heavyweight A Torn Mind Prints!

In other news, we're going to be having a low-run of super limited edition heavyweight A3 prints made up, featuring brand new artwork and we're looking for anyone who's interested in getting their hands on one to get in touch to register interest, and we'll let you all vote for the design you like the most.

The design with most votes will be printed and available for you to buy online and at shows.

If you fancy a one-off A Torn Mind wall print, and the chance to help choose the design all you have to do is:

  • Email us at
  • Message subject: "A3 Poster Print"
  • Say "I want a poster!"

...and we'll be in touch to show you the artwork options

Provisionally, we should be able to get these out to you for less than £5 inc. postage (UK), so it's a great chance to get your hands on a quirky piece of A Torn Mind merch and to help us choose which design gets pressed too! More firm details on price etc soon!
