Limited Edition Heavyweight A Torn Mind Prints!

In other news, we're going to be having a low-run of super limited edition heavyweight A3 prints made up, featuring brand new artwork and we're looking for anyone who's interested in getting their hands on one to get in touch to register interest, and we'll let you all vote for the design you like the most.

The design with most votes will be printed and available for you to buy online and at shows.

If you fancy a one-off A Torn Mind wall print, and the chance to help choose the design all you have to do is:

• Email us at info@atornmind.com
• Message subject: "A3 Poster Print"
• Say "I want a poster!"

...and we'll be in touch to show you the artwork options!

Provisionally, we should be able to get these out to you for less than £5 inc. postage (UK), so it's a great chance to get your hands on a quirky piece of A Torn Mind merch and to help us choose which design gets pressed too! More firm details on price etc soon!

Cheers!

A Torn Mind - Mixing, Mixing, Mixing...

Hello!

An update from the A Torn Mind camp this week:

Barriers
We're into the second week of mixing and Grant and Chris have been hard at work putting big shifts in on the EP front.

They've described it in the following ways:

• "Good Good."
• "Brilliant Actually."
• "This ain't no Bridget Jones..."

Apart from the last one, which I'm not entirely convinced about, it sounds as if everything's going well! Preliminary mixes suggest we've definitely not wasted eight months of our lives on this record, which we're all very pleased about!

Preview Video
As mentioned in the earlier post, we've put the first EP Preview Video up on our YouTube Channel which you can find HERE.

It's had a fair few views so far but could always have more - so if you like what you see/hear then please tell your pals to watch it as well. If you're extra nice you could subscribe to our Channel too! Imagine that!

The clip features the full intro into "Sixes & Sevens" and is the very first audio sample from the EP that we've made available!

Keep your eyes peeled for a more in depth preview video in the coming weeks.

Upcoming Shows
We've got two shows scheduled currently, but we plan to hit it hard in the remaining months of 2009 and into 2010 with the EP behind us. When details for a launch night are finalised, we'll be sure to let you know.

For now, you can catch us at the following shows:

Thursday 17th September
Bathgate Music Festival @ The Dreadnaught, Bathgate
w/ JACKIE TREEHORN & FALL AND PERISH
Tickets & Time TBC

Friday 9th October
Metal Tech Album Launch Night @ Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh
w/ BACKLASH
Tickets & Time TBC

That's about it for this week - another mixing update next week and any new happenings.
